The bullet hell,
reimagined in three dimensions.

Bloodline is a cinematic 3D bullet hell about surgical mastery — and the explosive rewards you earn with it. Skim enemy fire at point-blank range to charge your hyper, then spend everything you've grazed on a screen-shredding burst, mid-combo, to keep the chain alive.

Returnal-grade spectacle. Arcade-pure soul.

The loop

Graze death, earn godhood

Skim enemy fire to charge your hyper — then unleash it mid-combo as a homing missile storm and keep the chain alive. Surgical precision, rewarded by explosive power-fantasy bursts. Then straight back into the fire, one rank higher.

Risk is the resource.

In-engine capture: the player ship holds focus inside a dense lattice of enemy bullets.

Focus mode

Dodge in three dimensions

Slip into focus: time slows, safe lanes light up, incoming hits flare red, and your ship arms a heavy laser. Read the storm. Thread the gap. Punish.

No top-down shmup can do this.

In-engine capture: the cinematic third-person camera frames the ship against the luminous dark arena.

The camera

A bullet hell you watch like a film

This isn't top-down. A dramatic third-person camera pulls you into the storm with real depth, weight, and dramatic light — built in Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen and Nanite.

Real depth. Real weight. Real light.

In-engine capture: a combo of destroyed enemies erupts as the score multiplier climbs.

Proof of mastery

Chase the score forever

Deterministic, verifiable replays and online leaderboards — tuned for 60+ FPS on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Every ghost is real. Every run counts.

From the developer

Bloodline is a solo passion project: fifteen years of loving this genre, poured into the bullet hell I always wanted to make. Built by hand, in Unreal Engine 5, in my spare time. Follow the journey — and if you chase the score, wishlist it.

— Erik · solo developer

If you live for the one perfect run — the chain that never breaks, the graze that shouldn't have worked, the score that finally falls — Bloodline is built for you.

Be there at launch.
