Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you join the Bloodline: The Last Breath launch mailing list, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We collect as little as possible and we never sell it.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller for this website and mailing list is:
ObsidianCore Games (Erik Luimes)[Street address — required for the controller identity]
[Postcode, City, Country]
Email: [email protected]
2. What we collect and why
- Your email address — so we can send you Bloodline launch updates. This is the only field the form requires.
- Consent record — the date, time, and IP address at the moment you subscribe and confirm, kept as proof that you opted in (GDPR accountability).
- Email engagement — our mailing software (Listmonk) may record whether a campaign was delivered and, if you allow images, opened. You can ignore tracking pixels by keeping images off in your mail client.
- Server logs — our web server records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are rotated and deleted automatically.
3. Legal basis
We process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form and confirming via the double opt-in email. We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure website.
4. Double opt-in
After you submit the form we send a confirmation email. You are only added to the list once you click the link in that email. If you never confirm, your address is discarded.
5. Where your data lives
The mailing list runs on self-hosted Listmonk on our own server in the EU. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers. Confirmation and campaign emails may be delivered through a transactional email provider acting as our processor solely to send mail on our behalf [name your SMTP provider here if you use one, e.g. "(Postmark)"; delete if you send directly].
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Consent records are kept for as long as you are subscribed and for a short period afterwards as proof of prior consent.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal); and
- lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
8. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so no third-party font network sees your visit. If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool (such as self-hosted Umami or Plausible) that does not identify you, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated by email where appropriate.
